Red

2025 Champ Martin
Gamay: An indispensable grape variety in the Touraine landscape, Gamay is to spring and summer festivities what the *douceur de vivre* (sweetness of life) is to Touraine itself: a natural fit. Light, supple, and round—with aromas of freshly picked red berries and absolutely no harshness on the palate—this is a festive wine, a wine for friends, and a wine one simply takes pleasure in drinking at the table. It is a red wine that can be enjoyed chilled in the summer—on a terrace or alongside a barbecue—or served at a slightly warmer temperature with light snacks (though never fully brought up to room temperature). As for cheese pairings, opt for goat cheese—ideally fresh rather than overly aged. It is best enjoyed young, though it can be cellared for up to 5 years.$20.16
2023 Francois 1er
Gamay, Cabernet Franc and Côt (Malbec): This wine embodies the quintessential character of wines from Amboise and the Loire Valley. A light and fresh wine, it features a ruby hue and aromas of red berries. Three grape varieties are used to craft this cuvée: Gamay (50%), Cabernet (25%), and Côt (25%)—also known as Malbec. This blend yields a balanced wine—neither too light nor too tannic—that is aromatically complex, with each variety contributing its own distinctive notes. RECOMMENDATION: This wine is best enjoyed young to fully appreciate its fruitiness, vivacity, and freshness; however, it can also be aged for 6 to 8 years if you prefer a more mature, spicier profile. It pairs beautifully with charcuterie, poultry, and goat cheeses.$20.77
2022 Terra Nova
Merlot: “Terre Nova”—a cuvée that subtly blends tradition and innovation. This pure Merlot—vintage 2020—was aged for two years in 500-liter oak barrels. Cultivated on a unique terroir characterized by a cooler climate, the Merlot grape—though native to the South—has truly found its stride here, offering beautiful structure and tannins of exquisite elegance. Although widely planted around the world - present in 37 countries - Merlot remains, however, a rarity in the Loire Valley. A wine built for aging, it reveals its full aromatic richness over time, featuring notes of red berries, blackcurrant, and violet. To fully appreciate its character, we recommend decanting this wine.$30.84
2022 Les Ménigottes
Cabernet Franc: Cabernet Franc expresses the full character of a noble grape variety, enhanced by the interplay with oak to create this aromatic bouquet of floral and spicy notes. As the sole grape variety in this cuvée, Cabernet Franc—with its characteristic aromas of violet and pepper—achieves perfect aromatic harmony through aging in oak barrels. This process imparts complexity, infusing the wine with a beautifully integrated oak character featuring subtle notes of gingerbread. To ensure perfect balance, the wine spends one year in these barrels, stored within our cellars and subject to monthly tastings. RECOMMENDATION: This wine, which possesses excellent aging potential, is best enjoyed after 1 or 2 years of bottle aging and will retain its full splendor for up to 8 years. To fully savor its complexity, pair it with a piece of beef—simply seared, seasoned with salt and pepper, and served without sauce.$22.60
2023 Heritage Cot
Côt (Malbec): Côt—a hardy grape variety—is brought back into the spotlight with this contemporary wine. This lesser-known grape has been making waves ever since it began being planted in Argentina and Chile, where it goes by the name Malbec. An exceptional grape, Malbec fully expresses its character, richness, and complexity. It is a demanding, capricious grape - yet once tamed, it yields nothing but its very best. It is powerful yet supple, tannic yet round, boasting a crimson hue and immense aromatic richness in which notes of plum, tobacco, licorice, and sour cherry intertwine. It is a wine fit for the finest tables, capable of elevating your most refined culinary creations. RECOMMENDATION: This is an excellent wine for cellaring—for 10 to 15 years—so do not hesitate to tuck a bottle away in the back of your cellar to enjoy later, perhaps simply alongside a piece of cheese. It also pairs beautifully with game meats and dishes featuring rich sauces.$32.98
